About Me
I am a Professor at the University of Louisville in the Department of Criminal Justice. Before joining the University of Louisville’s faculty in 2003, I was at West Virginia State University in the Department of Criminal Justice. I received my Ph.D. in Criminology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2001 under the direction of Dr. John J. “Jake” Gibbs.
My research uses theories from criminology, psychology, and organizations to understand cybercrime/cybervictimization, substance use, abuse, and treatment, race and biological sex or gender issues in crime and victimization. I invite you to take a few minutes to learn more about me and current and past research (i.e., books, CV, google scholar).
